Granada is about 90 kilometers away and Seville could be a great day trip.

Lake Vinuela is a 30 min from Colmenar.
Here you can have a picnic and there are facilities for a BBQ.
There is an abundance of wildlife near the lake. The are some amazing walks here and if it gets to hot, just have a dip in the lake!
